Global Debt Mobilization Conference 2019

Visas

Visas

Spain is one of 26 countries located within the Schengen Area. Citizens from any Schengen State, including all European Union members (except the United Kingdom and Ireland), Iceland, Liechtenstein Norway and Switzerland need a valid national identity document or passport.

Nationals of all other countries must present their passports upon entry to the Schengen Area. Passports must have been issued within the last 10 years and must be valid for at least three months following the expected exit from the Schengen Area.

Nationals of certain countries (see below) must also be in possession of a valid visa, long-term visa or residence permit issued by Spain or any other Schengen State upon arrival into the Schengen Area.

Citizens of any other country not covered on this page should not require a visa.

Contact the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in your country to verify these requirements before you plan your trip. More information is available on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation:

AIM Group, the official event manager of IFC’s Global Debt Mobilization Conference, can provide an invitation letter to aid you in obtaining a visa (see below).

Invitation Letter

An invitation letter for visa purposes can be obtained through the IFC’s Global Debt Mobilization Conference website by checking the relevant box during registration.

If the invitation letter is not sufficient to obtain a visa from your local embassy or consulate, AIM Group will be pleased to send a personal invitation upon request. Once participant registration fees have been paid, letters of invitation for spouses, children and other guests accompanying the participant may also be provided upon request.

An invitation letter should not be considered as an offer of financial support and does not cover fees, accommodation, travel expenses or other costs related to conference participation. AIM Group is not responsible for visa issuance delays or visas that are not granted. Please see our registration and accommodations policies for cancellation deadlines.

Given that conditions and processing times may vary, you should contact the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in your country to verify these requirements before you plan your trip.
